Chicory and Plantain

Chicory and Plantain are highly palatable pasture herbs that have been intensively selected and bred for pasture systems in New Zealand. They have been improved for use in grass/legume pastures and specialist finishing pastures.

These herb species have a deep tap root that has the dual benefit of allowing them to access trace elements and moisture from lower in the soil profile. This characteristic improves the drought tolerance of mixed and specialty pastures.
