It is not recommended to solely feed Swiss Chard to stock and it is best grown in a mix.

Description

Swiss chard is a green leafy vegetable that can be a valuable addition to livestock diet with its high vitamin content (A, C, and K). These high levels are the same reason it is not recommended as a primary forage crop and best grown in a mix. Swiss Chard is the same species as Silverbeet, distinguished by its coloured stems and veins (crimson, red and yellow), versus Silverbeet with green leaves and white stalks.
