Cultivation

The crop should be allowed to fully mature prior to being grazed. Kingsford requires a minimum of 60 days from sowing to grazing. The advantage of Kingsford is it can be fed off multiple times with 3 – 5 grazings.

Sowing rates

Kingsford can be sown alone or in pasture mixtures as a specialist crop in both winter and summer. When added to pasture mixtures it is recommended to be sown at a rate of 0.5 – 1.0 kg per hectare.

Recommended sowing rate of 4 kg per hectare as a speciality crop.
