Description
Rahu Ryecorn is a hybrid forage crop grown for grazing and silage production in New Zealand. It is a cross between ryegrass and annual cereal rye, combining the desirable characteristics of both species.
It is a versatile crop, growing in a range of climates that can also tolerate low soil fertility conditions. Rahu Ryecorn has a high yield potential, rapidly establishing and producing a large amount of forage per hectare. Highly palatable under the correct management, it can offer three grazings per season.
