Description
Hybrid Forage Sorghum is a great summer feed option that can be grazed or harvested as silage or hay. While Hybrid Forage Sorghum requires a reasonably fertile soil, it grows best in areas with low rainfall, making it a good option in the drier eastern regions prone to summer droughts. It has an extensive secondary root system and a waxy leaf surface that gives a significant advantage compared to other pasture species for efficient water use. Our cultivar is a proven consistent yielder. When sowing, we recommend waiting until the soil temperature is 15 – 16 degrees and rising.
