Description
Gala Grazing Brome is likened to a perennial ryegrass of the Brome family. It is densely tillered, with small to medium leaves and a prostrate to semi-erect growth form. Though highly palatable, it has great persistence under grazing. Gala Grazing Brome thrives when grown in free-draining soil conditions. It has good productive potential under regular grazing management. It provides rapid autumn recovery, and good winter and early-spring growth. These characteristics make it a good option for the dry eastern regions of the country. Gala Grazing Brome is a short plant, and production is maximised with regular grazing, as when left, it rarely grows above 15cm.

Cultivation
Gala Grazing Brome production is maximised when the pasture is regularly grazed, it is a perennial cultivar with a early heading date. It is not recommended that it is taken for supplementary feed.
