Winfred Rape is a highly versatile, fast-establishing leafy forage brassica bred in New Zealand from a cross between kale and turnip. It provides exceptional feed quality, strong regrowth, and excellent animal performance, making it one of the country’s most widely used brassicas for summer, autumn, and early winter feed.

Winfred’s rapid establishment and strong resilience to heat and dry conditions make it an ideal crop for finishing lambs, beef cattle, or dairy young stock across a wide range of soil types and climates
