Wesco Seeds – Returns & Refunds Policy
At Wesco Seeds, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide reliable seed solutions to our customers. This policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.
1. Faulty or Incorrect Products
If the product you receive is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description.
Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
2. Change of Mind
Due to the nature of agricultural seed products, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind once goods have been delivered.
However, at our discretion we may accept returns if:

The product is unused and unopened

It is returned within 14 days of delivery

It is in original packaging and condition
Any approved return for change of mind may be subject to a restocking fee and return freight costs.
3. Seed Quality & Performance
Seed performance can vary depending on environmental conditions, soil fertility, grazing management, weather, and other factors beyond our control.
While we ensure all seed is supplied to industry standards, Wesco Seeds cannot guarantee field performance once seed has been sown.

5. Return Shipping
Unless the product is faulty or supplied incorrectly, the customer is responsible for return freight costs.
6. Refund Processing
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Business-to-Business Sales
Many Wesco Seeds products are supplied to commercial farming businesses. Where sales are made for business purposes, certain provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply as permitted by law.
