Forage Maize is a high-performance summer greenfeed maize blend developed for New Zealand farming systems. It combines several maize hybrids of varying maturities to deliver rapid establishment, high dry matter yield, and excellent feed value for dairy, beef, and deer operations.
Although not designed for ensiling as a dedicated silage maize, Forage Maize excels as a grazing or cut-and-carry crop, providing reliable, high-energy summer feed during periods of limited pasture growth.
Sowing Rate: 30-35kg per hectare
